The Post Office Manager coordinates the activities of the office and ensures that it operates in a smooth and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a post office.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the sorting and organization of incoming and outgoing mail, parcels and freight deliveries.
  • Ensure that timelines, guidelines and policies are met.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of post office activities.
  • Confirm and sign inventory records, route schedules, stamp stocks, shift schedules and daily cash receipts.
  • Investigate customer complaints and identify areas of potential improvement.
  • Generate statistical reports as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned by management based on business demand.
