About The Position

We are Claybourne, one of the largest and fastest growing cannabis flower brands in California. Our team is known for being highly dedicated to our retail partners and consumers while going above and beyond with flower quality, flower consistency, and innovative new product development. We are looking for a hard working Post-Harvest Trimming Technician at our Perris, California location. The primary goal of the Post-Harvest Trimming Technician is to assist the Trimming Department in completing the daily processing amount of finished product. The Post-Harvest Trimmer is responsible for the meticulous trimming and processing of cannabis plants after harvest; this role is critical in ensuring that the final product meets quality standards and is ready for sale or further processing. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to focus on detailed tasks for extended periods and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Proficient in using trimming tools with precision and care.
  • Capable of standing or sitting for extended periods of time and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check to include criminal history and previous employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in cannabis trimming or a related agricultural field is preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of state and local regulations related to cannabis processing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Carefully trim harvest cannabis plants to remove leaves, stem, and other unwanted parts while preserving the integrity of the buds.
  • Inspect buds for quality and consistency, ensuring that only the best product moves forward in the processing chain.
  • Accurately weigh and record the trimmed cannabis, maintaining detailed records of weights and strains processed.
  • Regularly clean and maintain trimming tools and equipment to ensure a hygienic and efficient working environment.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and state regulations regarding the handling and processing of cannabis.
