Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and inventory management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve plant health issues effectively.
  • Willingness to work in compliance with strict security and regulatory requirements.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Trim harvested cannabis plants by precisely removing fan leaves, sugar leaves, and excess water leaves while preserving the main colas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the trimming room to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Dry and cure cannabis plants by efficiently hanging and monitoring drying rooms to achieve optimal moisture content and flavor profiles.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to identify and remove any damaged or unhealthy cannabis plants.
  • Collaborate with the cultivation team to optimize harvesting schedules and ensure a smooth transition from cultivation to post-harvest.
  • Package the trimmed cannabis flower following company standards, ensuring proper labeling, sealing, and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Perform regular equipment maintenance and cleaning to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of post-harvest activities for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Continuously stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to post-harvest activities in the cannabis industry.
