About The Position
CRISP CANNABIS is seeking a Post-Harvest Technician to support the final stages of cannabis production at its Norwich, Connecticut facility. The role carries out post-harvest activities—including drying, curing, and trimming—to protect product integrity, meet regulatory requirements, and maintain the quality of cannabis flower and related products. Success requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, cleanliness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. The technician handles harvested cannabis, monitors drying-room conditions, follows curing protocols, maintains inventory records, and sanitizes tools and workspaces. Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in an agricultural setting.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in a comparable regulated field.
- Understanding of best practices and quality standards for post-harvest handling, including drying and curing.
- Ability to work effectively for prolonged periods in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to meet the position’s physical demands, including use of hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls; occasional standing, walking, sitting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and reaching; and required close and distance vision and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities
- Buck cannabis flower, separating harvested materials from the main stem.
- Hang and dry harvested plants, maintaining optimal airflow and conditions in designated drying areas.
- Hand-trim and/or machine-trim cannabis plants to achieve optimal product presentation.
- Handle and prepare harvested materials to produce a high-quality final product.
- Monitor temperature, humidity, and airflow in drying rooms to support optimal drying and curing.
- Follow established curing protocols to preserve the desired characteristics of harvested material.
- Maintain inventory control and documentation using designated tracking systems.
- Sanitize tools, equipment, and workspaces to prevent contamination and maintain compliance.
- Identify and promptly report product inconsistencies or quality-control concerns to supervisory personnel.
- Follow company policies, standard operating procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Support other cultivation or facility operations as needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
