A postdoctoral position is available to investigate neural correlates of binaural spectral and temporal integration: how spectra, temporal envelopes, and spectro-temporal changes are fused and integrated between the ears, in humans, behaving animals, and single neuron recordings in the auditory cortex. This position is supported for up to 3 years by an NIDCD/NIH R01 grant. The Reiss and David laboratories are based in the Oregon Hearing Research Center (OHRC), the Department of Otolaryngology, Oregon Health and Science University, and the successful applicant will have opportunities to interact with researchers studying a wide range of topics in auditory research, from the periphery to the cortex and from basic to clinical topics.
