The University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute (UTARI), a university-level applied research organization operating out of the Office of Research and Innovation at the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate. In accordance with USCIS regulations, successful applicants must be legally able to accept work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. The Postdoctoral Research Associate at UTARI will conduct applied research and development in one of the following technical areas: Composite Development and Manufacturing (intelligent composites, high-temperature composites, hybrid composite manufacturing, design of metamaterials, and/or non-destructive structural health monitoring and performance prediction) or Human-Like Robotics (humanoid robotics, co-bots, soft robotics, and/or wearable sensing skins/technologies). They will be responsible for applying theory and engineering techniques to the design, modeling, and/or development of novel systems and/or conduct experimental testing and analysis as applied to one of the technical areas listed above.
