Requirements

• Ph.D. in biological/biomedical sciences, biochemistry, cell biology, genomics, or related field required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrated experience with in vitro disease modeling in cell lines, in vivo disease modeling in transgenic mice, measuring bone mass and microarchitecture, single-cell RNA sequencing, and microscopy is needed.
• Persons must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in viral vectors, gene editing, high-throughput transcriptomics/proteomics, and using scientific programming languages is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper research record keeping, documentation, and safety of experiments in detail.
• Prepares publications and presents data in written and oral presentations.
• Conducts research as outlined with minimal supervision in funded and proposed grant applications under the direction and mentorship of the Principal Investigator or Collaborators.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
