About The Position
The Wistar Institute has an opening for an ambitious and productive Post-Doctoral Fellow to join the laboratory of Dr. Christopher McGinnis. The research focuses on studying tumor-immune interactions during metastasis in breast cancer and osteosarcoma. The successful candidate will utilize cutting-edge technologies such as single-cell genomics, high-throughput drug screening, ex vivo tissue culture systems, and in vivo mouse models to understand how tumors co-opt the immune system during metastasis. The ultimate aim of this research is to translate basic biological insights into the development of anti-metastatic immunotherapies. The position offers a dynamic scientific environment with opportunities for collaboration with leading investigators in related fields.
Requirements
- Ph.D. (or equivalent) degree.
- Strong background in one or more of the following disciplines: cancer biology, immunology, and molecular and/or cellular biology.
