The Wong lab in the Departments of Human Genetics and Pediatrics is looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow to join our neurogenetics laboratory. We study the development and progression of neurological disorders, including pediatric epilepsy and Alzheimer’s disease, with the long-term goal of developing better treatments. The Postdoctoral Fellow will design and conduct research projects independently while receiving training from the Principal Investigator to enhance professional skills and research independence. This position requires mouse handling, and it is preferred the candidate has prior wet lab experience (i.e., PCR, western blot, immunohistochemistry) and mouse behavioral or seizure induction/EEG skills. The Postdoctoral Fellow will prepare scientific manuscripts and grant applications under the direction of the Principal Investigator.
