About The Position
The Psychology SMI and Forensic Postdoctoral Fellow is a trainee who is receiving advanced training in providing care to individuals with a Serious Mental Illness diagnosis under the direction of a Licensed Psychologist. The goal is to provide advanced training in psychological evaluations, therapeutic techniques, interdisciplinary consultation, and mentoring to doctoral-level Psychologists who are in the beginning stages of their professional career.
Requirements
- Ph. D required.
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
Responsibilities
- Mentor to predoctoral-level Psychologists who are in the beginning stages of their professional career.
- Provide clinical services at the Arkansas State Hospital.
- Works with patients with serious mental illness diagnoses.
- Provide psychological evaluations, forensic evaluations, therapy, behavioral management, and consultation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
