A postdoctoral position is available in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. The Knipe Lab is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic post-doctoral candidate for a funded project focused on understanding the mechanisms of vascular biology, lung injury, and lung fibrosis. The research specifically investigates endothelial cell dysfunction in the context of fibrotic lung diseases such as scleroderma-associated ILD and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). The project involves both animal modeling of lung disease (mice) and in vitro cell culture work using human microvascular endothelial cells. The position is funded for three years, starting in 2026.
