A full-time post-doctoral position is available at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH)/Harvard Medical school in the laboratories of Drs. Mark Eldaief and Randy Buckner. These laboratories are pioneers in the fields of functional neuroimaging, non-invasive brain stimulation, and network neuroscience. This project involves studying the neural mechanisms underlying the efficacy of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to treat depression. The project will use state-of-the-art precision mapping of functional brain networks in the individual patient with depression. Next, each of these networks will be precisely stimulated with TMS in separate sessions, and the behavioral and functional readouts of these stimulations will be recorded with structured instruments and fMRI BOLD imaging.
