About The Position

The Liang Laboratory at The Wistar Institute is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows to join a dynamic and collaborative research team. The lab focuses on fundamental cellular mechanisms underlying cancer and infectious disease, with an emphasis on translating discoveries into therapeutic opportunities. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to take ownership of ongoing projects with strong momentum, including transitioning studies from departing trainees, while also developing independent research directions. Our work integrates molecular and cellular biology, cancer biology, and infection models, leveraging advanced approaches such as 3D culture systems, animal models, and multi-disciplinary strategies. The Liang Lab is a highly interactive and supportive environment that values scientific rigor, independence, and collaboration. Postdoctoral fellows are expected to drive innovative projects while contributing to a team-oriented culture. Requirements

PhD in molecular biology, cancer biology, immunology, or a related field
Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
Demonstrated ability to design and execute complex research projects
Solid background in molecular and cellular biology and/or biochemistry
