The Wilkinson lab at the University of Maryland, College Park, is hiring a postdoc to join an ongoing NIH-funded project titled “Social stress, epigenetic and immune function across the bat lifespans.” This project aims to determine if age, reproductive effort or social stress influence immune function and response across the lifespans of males and females from five different species of bats. The postdoc will be responsible for analyzing RNA and DNA methylation sequence data and will assist with sample collection from wild and captive bats. The postdoc will help plan, conduct, and publish research, contribute to the professional development of undergraduate and graduate students, and assist with data dissemination.
