About The Position
Post-doctoral position available in the laboratory of Dr. Adriana Mantegazza, Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (REQ0037111). Our laboratory is interested in investigating how solute transport, mediated by solute carriers (SLCs) in dendritic cells, regulates anti-microbial immune responses, both in vitro and in vivo. The post-doctoral fellow will study how inflammasome activity and antigen presentation are regulated by solute transport, using a combination of biochemical, cell biological and immunological assays in wild-type and genetically modified mice.
Requirements
- Recently earned a doctoral degree
- Background in cell biology/immunology
- Experience working with mice
Responsibilities
