Post-Doc Research Associate
About The Position
A Postdoctoral position is currently open in the Dayton Lab within the Lampe Joint Biomedical Engineering Dept. This research position will lead research in advanced ultrasound imaging and ultrasound therapeutics. Post-docs with background in therapeutic delivery or imaging physics/engineering will both be considered for different projects. Our research group has more than 3000 sq feet of research space equipped with state of the art equipment for biomedical acoustics, including 1024 channel Verasonics engines, multiple clinical ultrasound systems, HIFU systems, and high speed cameras, as well as facilities for contrast agent and drug delivery vehicle pharmacoengineering. Current research areas include super-resolution imaging, neuromodulation, molecular imaging, superharmonic imaging, sonothrombolysis, BBB opening, targeted drug delivery, acoustically mediated immunotherapy, and bioeffects studies. Candidates will both conduct independent work and work with a team to conduct bench and translational research, analyze data, prepare papers, reports, and contribute to proposals.
