The Department of Energy and Petroleum Engineering at the University of Wyoming is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to support research and laboratory operations within the Multidisciplinary Advanced Stimulation Laboratory (MASL). This role is ideal for a motivated researcher with strong experimental expertise and an interest in subsurface energy systems, including hydrocarbon recovery, carbon storage, and emerging energy technologies. The successful candidate will conduct and lead research, support daily lab activities, mentor graduate students, assist with manuscript development and scientific writing, and help enhance shared laboratory capabilities and workflows. This position offers opportunities for publication in high-impact venues, contribution to proposal development, and shaping a growing experimental research program in subsurface energy. It is a full-time, 12-month appointment, initially for one year with the possibility of renewal based on performance and funding availability. The desired start date is August 1, 2026, but is flexible.
