About The Position
The Deshmukh Lab in the Neuroscience Center in the UNC School of Medicine is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate. The main research objectives of this position are to examine the mechanism and biological significance of senescence in neurons.
Requirements
- Experience in neuroscience research or similar field
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in working with cells and utilizing molecular and cell biological approaches
- Experience in field of senescence
Responsibilities
- working with primary neurons in culture and mouse models
- conducting molecular and cell biological experiments to examine the senescence pathway in neurons
