The Wolfe laboratory is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to develop therapeutic genome editing reagents for muscular dystrophies and cancer. This role involves developing prime editing reagents for precise correction of Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy mutations, creating genome editing reagents for cancer cell killing, using genome-wide techniques to assess off-target events, and translating these reagents to clinical applications through in vivo studies in mouse models. The position offers exposure to cutting-edge genome editor engineering, in vivo delivery via lipid nanoparticles, and deep-sequencing approaches for off-target editing evaluation. The candidate will also have opportunities to attend meetings and conferences in genome editing and gene therapy.
