The Keeler-Klunk lab in the gene therapy center is seeking a highly motivated scientist with expertise in immunology or genome engineering to join their cutting-edge laboratory. The lab focuses on developing potent CAR Treg based therapies for neurological and hepatic disorders and assessing immune response to gene editing based therapeutics delivered as AAV or LNPs. The Postdoctoral Associate will be responsible for designing CAR Tregs for modulating immune responses to gene therapies for diseases affecting neurological and hepatic disorders. The Postdoctoral Associate will also run assays to assess editing outcomes and assess immune response to gene editing reagents. This position offers a unique opportunity to be exposed to cutting-edge translational research at the intersection of immunotherapy and gene editing technologies with the potential to make a significant impact on patient outcomes.
