About The Position

The Department of Cell Biology & Physiology and the Neuroscience Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are seeking an open-rank, tenure-track faculty member. The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional publication record in prominent peer-reviewed journals, a clear research vision, and the ability to establish and sustain an innovative, externally funded research program. Applications are welcome from candidates utilizing mammalian models, human subjects, or human iPSCs. While research in Alzheimer's disease, neurodegeneration, pain, glial biology, computational modeling, and translational neuroscience is of particular interest, exceptional work in any neuroscience field will be considered. Both the Department of Cell Biology & Physiology and the UNC Neuroscience Center offer excellent environments for pioneering research and professional growth. The University provides access to state-of-the-art Core facilities for both preclinical and clinical research.
