About The Position

Management oversight of a team responsible for performing comprehensive quality reviews with a focus on operational risk management, internal manual controls, state guidelines, and product-specific internal overlays. This role partners with segment leadership, risk, and compliance in providing meaningful input through comprehensive reviews and oversight of data integrity and documenting quality trends.

Requirements

College degree and 2 years work experience in a back office operations area
Demonstrated successful management of a team of 5+ people
Strong understanding of mortgage documentation
Ability to support multiple tasks, with varying levels of complexity, importance, and involvement
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented, motivated, and functions well in a team environment
Must exhibit a keen attention to detail and the ability to quickly comprehend information
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

Responsibilities

Monitors reviews (daily, weekly, monthly) that evaluate individual quality performance and reports out results of internal departmental quality standards.
Manages team performance to ensure SLAs are met and/or exceeded.
Supports ad hoc quality and control requests specific to Post Closing performance results.
Partners with management to align on overall risk ratings.
Provides a monthly summary report and findings to sales, fulfillment, and Post Closing leadership on performance results to proactively identify potential salability issues. Drives root cause analysis and applicable action plans related to process and/or technology changes.
Assists and/or facilitates leadership training programs targeted toward department needs or individual teammate issues.
