About The Position

The Post Closer will be responsible for reviewing and validating loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Non-QM guidelines. This role involves performing thorough audits of closed loans to ensure all conditions have been met, delivering complete collateral and trailing document packages, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies. The Post Closer will also prepare final closing documents, coordinate with title companies and lenders for timely delivery, and maintain organized records of all closed loans. Staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes related to Non-QM products is crucial, as is providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including clients and borrowers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage post-closing.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage documents.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in mortgage software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to adhere to production standards while thriving in high-pressure environments, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks without compromising quality.

• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes related to Non-QM products.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders and inclusive of communication to our clients and borrowers.
