Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience in a human services environment, or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and relevant experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Willingness to submit to record checks to detect criminal convictions of behavior harmful towards children, spousal abuse, distributing drugs or sex crimes.
Requires a valid auto-insurance, a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status.

Responsibilities

Plans, develops, and coordinates post-adoption support services for adoptive families and youth.
Collaborates with community partners to build and maintain resources, develop referral networks, and enhance awareness of adoption-related services.
Organizes and facilitates support groups, trainings, workshops, and an annual conference, while ensuring appropriate staffing and logistical support for program activities.
Publicizes program services through outreach and communication efforts, including newsletters and community engagement.
Assists in the monitoring and achievement of program goals and outcomes.
Maintains accurate program documentation and utilizes required systems to support service delivery and reporting.
