Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience in a human services environment, or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and relevant experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Willingness to submit to record checks to detect criminal convictions of behavior harmful towards children, spousal abuse, distributing drugs or sex crimes.
  • Requires a valid auto-insurance, a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, develops, and coordinates post-adoption support services for adoptive families and youth.
  • Collaborates with community partners to build and maintain resources, develop referral networks, and enhance awareness of adoption-related services.
  • Organizes and facilitates support groups, trainings, workshops, and an annual conference, while ensuring appropriate staffing and logistical support for program activities.
  • Publicizes program services through outreach and communication efforts, including newsletters and community engagement.
  • Assists in the monitoring and achievement of program goals and outcomes.
  • Maintains accurate program documentation and utilizes required systems to support service delivery and reporting.
