About The Position

Med Cap Health is seeking a Post-Acute Nephrology APP to join their team in Silver Spring, MD. This is a part-time, 1099 contract position focused on providing specialized nephrology services to patients in a post-acute care setting. The role involves evaluating patients, assessing their conditions, collaborating with the healthcare team on treatment plans, building relationships with patients and families, providing clinical support, and ensuring accurate documentation and billing within 24 hours. Requirements

1+ years of experience in nephrology as NP OR 3+ years of experience as an RN
An APRN degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

Care for patients requiring specialized nephrology services.
Evaluate patients referred for nephrology care.
Assess patient conditions.
Collaborate with the broader healthcare team to guide treatment plans.
Develop trusted relationships with patients and families.
Provide compassionate and informed clinical support.
Ensure all documentation and billing activities are completed accurately within 24 hours.
