About The Position
Med Cap Health is seeking a Post-Acute Nephrology APP to join their team in Silver Spring, MD. This is a part-time, 1099 contract position focused on providing specialized nephrology services to patients in a post-acute setting. The role involves evaluating patients, assessing their conditions, collaborating with the healthcare team on treatment plans, building relationships with patients and families, providing clinical support, and ensuring accurate documentation and billing within 24 hours.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in nephrology as NP OR 3+ years of experience as an RN
- An APRN degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Caring for patients who require specialized nephrology services.
- Evaluating patients referred for nephrology care.
- Assessing patient conditions.
- Collaborating with the broader healthcare team to guide treatment plans.
- Developing trusted relationships with patients and families.
- Providing compassionate and informed clinical support.
- Ensuring all documentation and billing activities are completed accurately within 24 hours.
