About The Position

Experienced QA Engineer with expertise in Point-of-Sale (POS) and Payment systems testing, responsible for validating end-to-end business processes across POS applications, payment gateways, APIs, and backend services. The role focuses on designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, developing automation solutions, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced retail environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on POS and payment systems testing.
  • Proven experience performing end-to-end testing across multiple systems, including POS platforms, APIs, and backend services.
  • Hands-on expertise in API testing using Postman, including collections, scripting, automation, and test validation.
  • Strong experience using Splunk and Datadog for log analysis, troubleshooting, monitoring, and dashboard creation.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and modern development tools such as Docker, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Android Studio, Xcode, IntelliJ, and VS Code.
  • Demonstrated ability to create comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and detailed test documentation aligned with business requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with experience working in Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end testing of POS and payment systems, validating workflows across frontend applications, APIs, and backend services.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API test frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Create, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, test suites, and regression testing strategies.
  • Identify, document, track, and communicate defects, risks, and test results with clear and actionable reporting.
  • Develop testing utilities, scripts, and tools to automate repetitive tasks and optimize quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes.
  • Ensure complete test coverage by identifying gaps in requirements, missing test scenarios, and adherence to quality standards and best practices.
