About The Position

The Global Account Management team at Cisco is dedicated to managing select global accounts, serving as the primary influencer in purchasing decisions. This team plays a critical role in aligning Cisco’s comprehensive product portfolio with customer needs, focusing on core networking technologies such as switching, wireless, and routing. The team is composed of experienced sales professionals who collaborate closely with specialist teams to enhance the sales process. The dynamic and collaborative environment fosters long-term client relationships and drives sustainable cross-portfolio growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of related experience, or Master’s degree plus 3 years of related experience, or internal Cisco experience
  • Deep understanding of core networking technologies including switching, wireless, and routing
  • Experience managing global accounts and complex sales cycles

  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex deal cycles and partner with other global account executives to support a broad range of Cisco solutions for significant global accounts.
  • Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business goals and identifying opportunities for upsell and cross-sell.
  • Develop and execute global account strategies across multiple geographies, coordinating with local account teams.
  • Analyze data and create forecasts to set sales commitments, driving bookings growth.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver customer-first strategies and solve complex challenges through cross-architecture collaboration.
