About The Position

Bommarito Wines & Spirits is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and motivated team member to support our purchasing, logistics, compliance, and operational processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with technology and systems, coordinating moving pieces, and being part of a collaborative team environment. This is a unique opportunity to work in the wine, beer, and spirits industry while helping manage the flow of products from suppliers across the US, Europe, and South America into our distribution network. The position works closely with our portfolio managers, suppliers, freight carriers, operations staff, and accounting personnel to help ensure products move efficiently from purchase order to delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage purchase orders based on direction from portfolio management team
  • Coordinate directly with domestic and international suppliers regarding order timing, confirmations, and shipment status
  • Monitor open orders and proactively communicate updates or potential issues
  • Help ensure products move from supplier to warehouse smoothly and accurately
  • Coordinate inbound shipments including domestic freight, container shipments, and international imports
  • Work with suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams to manage timelines and deliveries
  • Track inbound inventory and communicate ETAs to warehouse and commercial teams
  • Support receiving schedules and help resolve shipment discrepancies
  • Create and maintain product records and setup within internal systems
  • Coordinate item information, product attributes, pricing support, and documentation
  • Help ensure portfolio data is organized, accurate, and up to date
  • Support product registrations, licensing documentation, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain records to support federal and state compliance requirements
  • Assist with audits, documentation requests, and process improvement initiatives
  • Assist Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed
  • Support invoice review, pricing discrepancies, and vendor/customer communication
  • Assist with reporting, spreadsheets, and general office coordination
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting and operations teams
