About The Position

We are looking for a candidate to provide fundamental analysis on global equities along with individual sector responsibilities and to assist the lead PM in the management of the Global Quality Value portfolio. Expertise within the global financial sector is advantageous. The team consists of a lead PM and 5 other team members, all of whom are fundamental analysts and who have both generalist and sector responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Typically, holds advanced degrees (MBA etc.) and/or CFA designation.
  • At least 10 years of buy-side global equity portfolio management experience.
  • A value background.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proven record of fundamental stock picking.
  • The ability to build a model for, and make an investment recommendation regarding, a public company in different industries and geographical areas and multiple time zones.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to deliver reviews and recommendations.
  • A global generalist is preferred.
  • Ability to work within a team-based structure.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the lead PM in the management of the Global Quality Value/Core portfolio and contribute to the overall portfolio construction.
  • Do fundamental analysis on global companies including writing research notes and building proprietary models as well as interpreting market trends.
  • Provide fundamental analysis including meeting with company management and street analysts to determine short and long-term outlook of a company focused on business factors such as financial performance, competitive industry placement quality of company management etc.
  • Provide verbal and written reviews of companies.
  • Be responsible for 2-3 global sectors.
  • Assist in client service and marketing responsibilities.
