About The Position

Responsible for managing a moderately complex portfolio of commercial and/or consumer loans to support asset quality, profitability, and relationship management goals of the bank.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in finance or business administration and 5 years’ experience in commercial lending or credit analysis; OR Bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration and 2 years’ experience in commercial lending or credit analysis
  • General computer skills

Responsibilities

  • Manages and monitors an assigned loan portfolio, including commercial, real estate, agricultural, or consumer credits, as applicable.
  • Performs comprehensive financial analysis, including cashflow, global debt service coverage, collateral evaluation, and covenant compliance.
  • Identifies and proactively addresses credit risk, trends, and potential problem loans.
  • Prepares and presents credit memoranda, renewals, modifications, and extensions in accordance with bank policy.
  • Ensures loan documentation, collateral perfection, and credit files meet internal policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitors covenant compliance, financial reporting requirements, and exception tracking.
  • Assists in internal and external audits, loan reviews, and regulatory examinations.
  • Supports criticized and classified asset management efforts, including workout strategies when needed.
  • Partners with commercial lenders and relationship managers to support new loan requests, renewals, and ongoing portfolio servicing.
  • Participates in customer meetings as needed to discuss financial performance and credit structure.
  • Serves as a resource to lenders regarding credit structure, policy interpretation, and risk mitigation.
  • Prepares periodic portfolio reports, risk ratings, and concentration analyses.
