About The Position

As a Community Financial Corporation Portfolio Manager I, you'll play a key role in supporting commercial lending by evaluating credit opportunities, preparing recommendations, and partnering with decision makers to manage risk and drive successful outcomes. This is an opportunity to leverage your financial and analytical expertise while working collaboratively with a team dedicated to serving our clients and communities with integrity, accountability, and trust. In this role you'll Investigate credit and financial information for prospective and existing clients. Analyze financial statements for new, renewed, and existing loan relationships. Prepare spreadsheets, credit approval packages, summaries, and recommendations for complex commercial credits, including construction, lot/land acquisition, and land development loans. Independently assess complex credit relationships and develop credit proposals with minimal guidance. Serve as a subject matter expert on Community Financial Corporation credit-related matters. Maintain and oversee financial files to ensure accurate reporting, financial statements, and accounts receivable information. Monitor existing accounts and track payment performance. Assist with establishing and maintaining lien perfection for various forms of collateral. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, security requirements, and applicable government regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (Required).
  • 4 or more years of related credit, banking, or financial analysis experience (Required).
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
