About The Position

The Portfolio Manager ensures overall client satisfaction of their specified client base in delivering a variety of digital health projects by serving as their primary business contact and acting as the liaison with HITS and other stakeholders or partner organizations for delivery of requirements. Oversight of any assigned Project Managers/Leads and the projects within the portfolio that they’re responsible to manage, including resources, budget, and timelines. Ensuring that projects are being delivered according to requirements, and with alignment to PPMO Methodology is key to the success of this role. Project management of individual projects will also comprise a significant portion of the job. This position is eligible for a hybrid remote work arrangement, in accordance with HHS’ Remote Work Policy

Requirements

  • University Bachelor degree or Community College Diploma in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of 9 years of related job experience
  • Demonstrated Portfolio Management experience
  • Demonstrated Project Management skills - PMP preferred - and experience managing multiple complex projects
  • Strong business needs assessment experience and ability to identify IT solutions that align with business goals
  • A self starter with advanced interpersonal, presentation, verbal, written and report writing skills
  • Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills with people at all levels of the Organization
  • Strong dedication to quality customer service coupled with Client Relationship Management experience
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws; PHIPA and PIPEDA
  • Demonstrated Team leadership skills/experience including team building and mentoring skills
  • Excellent problem management skills
  • Ability to operate in an 'agile' environment
  • Sound technical knowledge of hardware infrastructure (i.e: networks, PC's, storage platforms)
  • Knowledge of public sector business processes

Nice To Haves

  • ITIL certification, LEAN, or Six Sigma certification
  • Healthcare experience
