About The Position

The Portfolio Management Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and governance across the Global Technology portfolio. This role partners with technology, portfolio management, and finance leaders to deliver portfolio-level financial insights, investment tracking, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting. The position is responsible for monitoring technology spend, evaluating business cases, identifying risks and opportunities, and improving financial visibility across projects and strategic initiatives to enable informed decision-making and disciplined investment management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent related work experience (CPA preferred) - Required
  • 5+ years progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, portfolio finance, or technology finance - Required
  • Experience supporting project, program, or portfolio financial management in a technology organization - Required
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and executive financial reporting - Required
  • Experience developing business cases and investment analyses for complex initiatives - Required
  • Experience working with financial systems and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, Oracle, OneStream, Sigma, or similar platforms - Required
  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis skills - Required
  • Strong understanding of portfolio finance, investment governance, and technology cost structures - Required
  • Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for business and technology leaders - Required
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong capability with reporting and data visualization tools - Required

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain portfolio-level financial models, forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans for Global Technology initiatives.
  • Partner with technology leaders, portfolio managers, and business stakeholders to track investment performance, spending trends, and resource allocations across the technology portfolio.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reporting, including actual-to-plan analysis, forecast updates, variance commentary, and executive-ready portfolio dashboards.
  • Support business case development for technology investments by assessing expected costs, benefits, return on investment, and financial risks.
  • Monitor project and program financial performance to identify risks, opportunities, and required course corrections, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Drive portfolio finance governance by helping establish consistent reporting standards, funding controls, and processes for prioritization and investment oversight.
  • Collaborate with accounting, procurement, vendor management, and technology teams to improve accuracy of accruals, invoices, capitalization treatment, and expense reporting.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement and stronger financial discipline.
  • Develop and enhance dashboards, reporting tools, and management information using financial and business intelligence systems.
  • Support annual budget cycles, quarterly forecasts, monthly close activities, and strategic planning processes for the Global Technology function, ensuring data integrity across portfolio finance reporting by validating assumptions, source data, and system outputs.
