The Portfolio Analyst & Underwriting Assistant monitors, analyzes, and protects TRICOM’s portfolio of receivable collateral by managing and assisting in the collection of our staffing client’s accounts receivables; while maximizing accounts receivable performance, minimize and prevent delinquencies and bad debt write-offs. Acts as the support person to the Chief Credit Officer for the business development team. Processes and performs various support duties pertinent to meeting the needs of our clients and development of new business. This role involves timely, effective, and professional client communication and customer Accounts Receivable collection activities using appropriate persuasion, negotiation, follow-up and problem-solving skills. The assistant will also educate and guide clients in effective accounts receivables management, trend analysis, collection techniques and TRICOM expectations and protocol through appropriate analysis of risk criteria present in the assigned portfolio of accounts receivable. Additionally, the role includes compiling required documents and information for client annual contract review, drafting new contracts and/or amendments as directed by the Chief Credit Officer, pulling business and personal credit reports and other required documents to complete loan files in underwriting, and drafting appropriate contractual documents based on underwriting review decisions. The position also requires reviewing and assembling contract files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance standards, and communicating orally and in writing using appropriate spelling and grammar.
