About The Position
CNBC is seeking a financial analyst with strong writing and analytical skills to join The Investing Club, its digital subscription product launched in 2022 with Jim Cramer. The Investing Club team reports and writes about stocks, investing, and markets to educate investors and help them build long-term wealth. The role calls for someone able to provide deep financial insights while explaining complex subjects in plain English for regular investors, and to collaborate with Jim Cramer and the editorial team to create content for paying members. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth and expansion of the Investing Club. The position is hybrid, with at least three days per week generally spent in the office at CNBC Headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. The headquarters offers an onsite fitness center and group classes, a cafeteria, dry cleaning, and free shuttle transportation to and from several locations in the New York metropolitan area. The position is eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, discounts, and other perks. The stated annual salary range is $110,000–$140,000.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of writing similar content at another major publication or experience as a sell-side or buy-side research analyst.
- Strong writing and research skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-intensity environment, often under tight deadline pressures.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Good news judgment and ability to identify smart story angles.
- Unrestricted work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities
- Pitch, report, and write stories on stocks and investing to help members become better investors.
- Conduct research for and contribute to broader projects.
- Produce articles for the Investing Club and CNBC.
- Coordinate visuals for digital stories, including charts and data visualizations.
- Collaborate with Jim Cramer and the editorial team to create content for paying members.
