About The Position

CNBC is seeking a financial analyst with strong writing and analytical skills to join The Investing Club, a digital subscription product launched in 2022 with Jim Cramer. The team of analysts, reporters, and editors covers stocks, investing, and markets with the goal of educating investors and helping them build long-term wealth. The position calls for someone who can bring deep financial insight to complex subjects and explain them clearly to everyday investors, while collaborating with Jim Cramer and the editorial team to develop content for members. The role also offers an opportunity to help grow the Investing Club during a period of expansion at CNBC.

The position is hybrid, generally requiring at least three days per week in the Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey office. The headquarters offers an onsite fitness center and group classes, a cafeteria, dry cleaning, and free shuttle transportation from multiple locations in New York and New Jersey. Requirements

• At least 3 years of writing similar content at another major publication or experience as a sell-side or buy-side research analyst.
• Strong writing and research skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-intensity environment, often under tight deadline pressures.
• Collaborative approach that welcomes teamwork.
• Good news judgment and ability to identify smart story angles.
• Unrestricted work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Pitch, report, and write stories about stocks and investing to help members become better investors.
• Conduct research for and contribute to broader projects.
• Produce articles for the Investing Club and CNBC.
• Coordinate visuals for digital stories, including charts and data visualizations.
• Collaborate with Jim Cramer and the editorial team to create content for paying members.
