Requirements

• Completion of high school and 3-5 years’ experience in an investment or safekeeping securities operations environment or 6-8 years’ equivalent work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, oral, and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a competent and professional manner
• Self-motivated; ability to work independently
• Excellent organizational and decision making skills
• Excellent PC, word processing, and spreadsheet skills

Responsibilities

• Process daily bond accounting activities, including purchases, sales, pledging, and security setup for non‑custody holdings.
• Maintain, update, and correct security files to ensure accurate bond accounting records.
• Support customers with general ledger questions and resolve bond accounting report discrepancies or outages.
• Review monthly custody activity reports to confirm trades interface correctly and securities are built properly.
• Produce safekeeping statements and open position reports for internal and external audit requests.
• Manage portal administration tasks and prepare Excel reports showing market values for pledged repo holdings.
• Provides backup to the Portfolio Accounting Administrator and various other duties as assigned.
