About The Position

Castle Chevy of Villa Park is hiring a part-time Porter. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in the automotive industry. The Porter maintains vehicle appearance and inventory, keeps dealership lots orderly, moves and retrieves vehicles, and performs other assigned duties. Compensation is $15–$18 per hour, based on performance and experience; pay ranges may vary from the displayed amounts.

Requirements

Ability to work assigned hours.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Professional attitude and ability to deliver best-in-class customer service.
Reliable transportation to and from work every day.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident and outgoing personality, and eagerness to improve.

Knowledge of automotive dealership operations.

Responsibilities

Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors and maintain inventory appearance and performance.
Replenish vehicle fluids as needed and replace batteries when necessary.
Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and according to dealership display standards.
Drive vehicles to and from requested areas as needed.
Make key tags and handle vehicle inventory.
Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
