About The Position

Castle Chevy of Villa Park is hiring a part-time Porter. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in the automotive industry. The Porter maintains vehicle inventory and dealership lots, moves and retrieves vehicles, and supports other dealership tasks as assigned. Compensation is listed at $15–$18 per hour and is based on performance and experience; pay ranges may vary from the displayed amounts.

Requirements

Ability to work assigned hours.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Professional attitude and ability to deliver best-in-class customer service.
Reliable transportation to and from work every day.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of automotive dealership operations is a plus.
Experience working as a Porter at a dealership is sought in the opening questions.

Responsibilities

Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles and maintain their appearance and performance.
Replenish vehicle fluids as needed and replace batteries when necessary.
Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
Drive vehicles to and from requested areas as needed.
Make key tags and handle vehicle inventory.
Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
