About The Position

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Porters to join our Travel Center teams. In this important role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and team members by keeping our facilities in top condition.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning, janitorial, or porter experience is preferred, but not required — we will train the right person.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, safe spaces.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to assist team members and guests.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the Travel Center, including restrooms, showers, break rooms, public areas, and dining spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors to ensure they are clean and safe at all times.
• Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and properly manage waste disposal systems.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks and promptly report any major repairs or safety issues to management.
• Help set up and tear down areas for events, meetings, or special needs as required.
• Stock and organize cleaning supplies to ensure they are always available.
• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly assistance when needed.
