Porter (Per diem)
About The Position
Oasis Rehabilitation and Nursing has Per diem openings for Housekeepers/Porters. The primary functions include performing the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping department in accordance with State, Federal, Health and Company standards. The role requires following instructions from the Director of Housekeeping Services to ensure the facility is maintained in a safe manner. This involves cleaning and polishing furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, in restrooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed. The position also includes discarding waste/trash in proper containers and relining trash receptacles with a plastic liner. The role requires the ability to lift 40-50 pounds and ensuring that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as possible.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds.
- Managing time effectively and having good organizational skills.
- Experienced or on the job training.
Responsibilities
- Perform the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping department in accordance with State, Federal, Health and Company standards.
