About The Position
The Porter is responsible for maintaining the grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings at a multi-family residential apartment community. The role includes removing trash, assisting with unit preparation and cleaning, supporting maintenance tasks, and reporting repair concerns. This is a full-time, hourly/non-exempt position scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with compensation of $20–$22 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- Bilingual or multilingual skills.
- Experience with OneSite or other property management software.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings.
- Remove trash daily from office areas and the apartment community perimeter.
- Assist in preparing market-ready units, including removing trash from vacant apartments.
- Assist with and perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
- Assist with cleaning available units and models.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, carpentry, and electrical problems.
- Report maintenance concerns requiring repairs to the maintenance supervisor or property manager.
- Perform tasks and operate machinery safely and in compliance with safety procedures.
