About The Position

Our Make Ready's are essential team members that maintain the apartment units. The Make Ready is responsible for performing general maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping services to ensure excellent curb appeal and quality of apartment homes, and responding to customer service requests. As a Make Ready Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that vacant apartment units are thoroughly cleaned, painted, and repaired before they are leased to new residents. You will work closely with the maintenance team and report to the Property Manager to ensure that all make-ready tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.

Requirements

Perform general maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping services
Ensure excellent curb appeal and quality of apartment homes
Respond to customer service requests
Thoroughly clean, paint, and repair vacant apartment units
Work closely with the maintenance team
Complete all make-ready tasks on time and to a high standard
Complete a daily on-line time clock system

Nice To Haves

Provide backup emergency response even when not the primary “on-call” associate.

Responsibilities

Inspect vacant apartment units and create a make-ready checklist
Paint walls, trim, and ceilings to ensure a fresh, clean look
Install and repair light fixtures, switches, and outlets
Replace damaged flooring and repair or replace appliances
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
Replace window screens, blinds, and curtain rods
Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment needed for make-ready tasks
Report any safety hazards or needed repairs to the Property Manager
Communicate with vendors, contractors, and other team members as needed
Ensure that the compactor area, amenities, and clubhouse are all clean and sparkling 24/7/365.
