About The Position

An exceptional focus on maintaining a clean and inviting shopping environment. The porter maintains the cleanliness, safety and professional appearance of the store during active business hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Regularly required to stand and use the hands to handle, finger, or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Frequently walk, talk, or hear, and reach with the hands and arms.
• Crouch or kneel.
• Occasionally exert or lift up to 50 pounds and frequently exert or lift negligible amounts of weight.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the stores floors by sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing and sealing.
• Cleaning and maintaining the entrance of the store, eating areas, backrooms, janitorial and sink area to include supply rooms.
• Frequently clean, sanitize and restock restrooms with paper products and soap.
• Ensures cleanliness of loading dock and courtyard areas.
• Quickly address spills, leaks, or safety hazards
• Emptying and disposing of trash collected in various trash receptacles throughout store.
• Perform light repairs such as changing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, or unclogging sinks.
• Other duties as assigned.
