The Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the venue to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests and team members. This role plays a vital part in creating an atmosphere that reflects Puttery’s standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and care. Porters are expected to work efficiently, communicate effectively, and contribute to a positive team culture built on respect, support, and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Previous custodial, housekeeping, or porter experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and sanitation best practices
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks as directed by the Facilities Manager or Supervisor
  • Maintain cleanliness of all interior and exterior areas, including restrooms, storage areas, walkways, and common spaces
  • Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and maintained with proper supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.)
  • Support general maintenance and minor repair tasks as needed
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Respond promptly to guest or staff requests regarding cleanliness or safety concerns
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Monitor facility conditions and report any issues or hazards to management
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
