Requirements

Proficient customer service skills
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Nice To Haves

Three – six months previous customer service experience
Flexible and able to work under pressure
Able to maintain high standards while working independently
Knowledge of cleaning techniques/chemical applications a plus
6 months or more maintenance experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide light maintenance support, such as taking out garbage/recycle dumpsters, checking spa chemicals, cleaning spa, and building walks.
Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the property.
Move and arrange furniture.
Ensure storage areas are neat and organized.
Maintain inventory of housekeeping and maintenance supplies and communicate damage or shortages to supervisor.
Sweep and clean designated floors/sidewalks.
Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
Wash windows, door panels, and sills.
Empty and transport all trash and waste to disposal area.
Follow recycling procedures.
Report damages, lost items, or anything unusual or suspicious.
Report and address unsafe conditions or security concerns immediately to the GM or Manager on Duty.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and team members.
Respond to all resident and guest requests in an expeditious, courteous, and professional manner.
Ensure workspaces and storage areas are clean and organized.
Maintain confidentiality of all resident information and pertinent building data.
Demonstrate proper bending and lifting techniques to ensure health and safety.
Respond to calls for spill cleanup and trash removal.
Respond to calls for cleaning or straightening of public or back of the house areas.
Follow all safety and security procedures.
Assure that resident expectations are exceeded by being responsive, engaged, and following through on all requests.
Work with others as needed and maintain on-going communication with all team members.
Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Columbia Hospitality values and mission.
Complete other duties as assigned.
