About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the property. Key duties include daily groundskeeping, trash removal, and immediate attention to issues like graffiti and health hazards. The position requires physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and handle moderate weights, along with strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Requirements

  • Incumbents need to be able to bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
  • Incumbents must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet).
  • Incumbents must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define and correct.
  • Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively interact with residents, clients, team members, and other business contacts, respond courteously to questions and requests and stay calm when addressing and resolving customer.
  • Successful completion of a standard background check, which reviews records for the past seven (7) years, in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

  • Grounds must be picked up every morning before the leasing office opens.
  • Remove all trash, pet waste and any other debris throughout the property's walkways, parking lot or any other common areas.
  • Trash bins/Dumpster enclosures must be cleared of trash, debris and/or furniture.
  • Graffiti must be removed IMMEDIATELY.
  • Check for any Health and safety matters that need to be addressed.
