About The Position

Peter Pan BMW, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is hiring Porters (also called Valets or Lot Attendants) to support dealership operations. Porters move vehicles as needed and keep the showroom and display lots neat and orderly. The role offers the opportunity to gain experience and learn how an automotive dealership operates, using state-of-the-art facilities. Pay is $23 per hour. The position operates during standard business hours, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Requirements

Able to safely drive vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to perform basic math.
Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedures.
Ability to use common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given instructions, routines, and accepted practices.
Ability to interact well with others and work in a team environment, including with a diverse group of people.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Valid driver's license.
Individuals under age 18 may not drive vehicles off the dealership premises.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Six months or more of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
