About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and effective Loading Dock Associate/Porter to join our team at a luxury high-rise condominium. In this role, you will contribute to maintaining a well-kept property and provide exceptional service to our residents. Key responsibilities include package intake and organization, monitoring vendors and contractors, and ensuring the dock area is clean and well-managed.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
One to two years of previous custodial experience preferred.
Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
Spanish language skills are a plus.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
Ability to work weekends as required.
Ability to lift 50 pounds following appropriate safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Oversee the operations of the dock area, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Maintain the dock area in a clean and organized condition, addressing any spills or hazards promptly.
Ensure proper use and cleanliness of the dumpster and trash shoot areas, managing waste disposal effectively.
Greet and assist contractors and vendors, inspecting their work and ensuring compliance with company standards.
Manage the intake of packages, ensuring they are sorted and organized correctly for efficient distribution.
Provide support for maintenance tasks as needed, addressing minor repairs and assisting maintenance personnel with larger issues.
Execute a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs, and window cleaning. Perform additional tasks like restroom cleaning and floor care as needed.
